Content Description

These documents are given context by a note in Archibald Keightley's hand, to the effect that they given to him by "Mrs. Connop, daughter-in-law to Mr. Braune, Private Secretary to George III", and that she assured him of their authenticity.

The first comprises brief notes from Blackstone's works on English law [watermark 1799]; the second deals with liveries for Royal servants [watermark 1794]; the third is an autograph.
