"Diploma" of the "President and Council of the Original ["Privy" above the line] Academy", issued as a "Certificate of your Reception to the Office of Academician", and signed by John Bacon Jun., S. F. Rigaud and T. Bacon.
Acquisition Details
Presented by B. F. Stevens & Brown Ltd, Library & Fine Art Agents, Ardon House, Mill Lane, Godalming, Surrey, England, in a letter to the Librarian, dated 19 April 1967 (beside the item in the scrapbook, together with a note by Constance-Anne Parker, 20 April 1967, stating that the item had been found in an album of letters to Smith, picture dealer.)
