Content Description

Probyn [Keeper of HM Privy Purse] informs him that the King would give an audience to the President the following week, and confirms the King's intention to adhere to all the privileges accorded to the RA by previous Sovereigns. He also hopes, humorously, that the RA would not approach the Privy Purse for funds, otherwise, they might have to recall the £5000 loaned by King George III.
