Content Description
Clark was unable to attend the General Assembly because he had to be out of London. He wished to make a proposal that at the next Summer Exhibition a framed price list of the paintings in each gallery should be placed in a suitable central position in each gallery. He had himself had to wait in a queue of people wanting to buy paintings in the vestibule on private view day. Some of them had turned away.
