They all agree that Miss McAllister is excitable and peremptory, but Lady Gleichen, Duchess of Rutland and Sir Cecil Harcourt-Smith forgive her this, as it was due to her inexperienced letter that the King was shocked into bringing Gilbert back. He feels Lord Crawford will be too busy to help.
