Content Description

A newspaper cutting relating to domestic economy and fuel use is slipped in the front of the volume, near to it is a small receipt for 21lbs of grapes, dated 24th September; in February a newspaper cutting is pasted, of a letter written by John Tyndall, from the Athenaeum, on government policy in the Sudan; in May is a brief newspaper notice of Richmond's bust of Pusey; June a pasted newspaper cutting relating to a published catalogue of prints after Sir Joshua Reynolds; in October an address by Canon Richmond on the life of Dr. Pusey is pasted; at the rear he has made brief notes on the 1885 Academy winter exhibition.
