Content Description

Mr Woodhouse does his business, he is a director of the East India Company and known to Mr. Hastings. He and Lady B. are selling their house only as they are so little in London. It is a very pleasant abode and he recommends it highly to Mr. Hastings.

He had hoped that the cruel persecution of Mr. Hastings would cease. When it is over the East India Company should reward him for having saved the country for Britain. He surprised Hastings has not been lost to the Madhouse.
