Content Description

She is sorry to hear of the state of Humphry's eyes, but grateful for news of the two Mr. Trenchards. She understands that Lady Amelia is a martyr to her family's heriditary condition. She thanks him for the offer of the portrait of Sir John Trenchard, but her connection to the family is now dissolved. She has reason to think Mr. William Trenchard would be happy to have it. She has had a letter from Elizabeth Bromfield in Bath.
