Content Description

He met Goetze, who thought it odd that he had never met Spielmann. He thinks the Royal Academy has behaved shamefully in respect of their friend, Alfred Gilbert, only Sir W. John has been any help.

Goetze paid for the service in St. Paul's, and an R.A. appeal in The Times raised only £32. And yet John and Reid Dick appeared at the studio and grabbed the Watts and Victoria busts, and the salt cellars, which they propose to cast in silver for their banquets.
