Benefits and levels

There are three main patrons groups:

RA Patrons
Contemporary Patrons
RA Schools Patrons

RA Patrons have three levels at which you can join:

Donations from £1,250 (to £2,499) per annum
£250 is the value of benefits received by Patrons with the remaining £1,000+ a donation which can benefit from Gift Aid

Benefits at this level:
Free entry to RA exhibitions (plus family member)
A special morning or evening curated tour for each exhibition (with guest)
Invitations to two opening receptions each year (with guest)
Two behind-the-scenes RA visits each year (with guest)
Free quarterly RA Magazine
Crediting in the RA Annual Report
Opportunities to attend external art events*
Opportunity to attend the Summer Exhibition Preview Party*
Priority booking for Friends events*

Donations from £2,500 (to £4,999) per annum
£375 is the value of benefits received by Patrons with the remaining £2,125+ a donation which can benefit from Gift Aid

Benefits at this level:
All Bronze benefits
Invitations to two additional opening receptions (with guest)
Two additional behind-the-scenes RA visits (with guest)
Opportunities to take part in overseas art tours*

Donations from £5,000 (to £9,999) per annum
£500 is the value of benefits received by Patrons with the remaining £4,500+ a donation which can benefit from Gift Aid

Benefits at this level:
All Bronze and Silver benefits
Invitations to two additional opening receptions (with guest)
Two special behind-the-scenes RA events (with guest)
Priority booking for overseas art tours*

If you are an American living and working in London you can be a member of the * Benjamin West Grou *p. The Benjamin West Group receives all the benefits of RA patrons at the above levels but also have the opportunity to come to additional specially organised events (subject to an additional charge) with others in a similar situation.

Contemporary Patrons have one level at which you can join:

Free entry to all RA exhibitions
Exclusive patrons event programme accessing private collections, galleries, exhibitions, discussions and artist’s studios
Invitations to two Royal Academy opening parties each year
Invitation to preview RA School’s Final Year and Premiums Show, including first opportunity to buy student’s work
VIP access to other art fairs and events
Regular CPG newsletter, THINK
Free quarterly RA Magazine
Crediting in the RA Annual Report
Opportunity to attend unique contemporary art foreign trips*
Opportunity to attend the Summer Exhibition Preview Party*
Priority booking for Friends events*

RA Schools Patrons have one level at which you can join:

Donations from £1,250+ per annum
£150 is the value of benefits received by Patrons with the remaining £1,000+ a donation which can benefit from Gift Aid

Benefits at this level:
Free entry to RA and RA Schools exhibitions (plus family member)
Invitations to two RA Schools opening receptions each year (with guest)
RA Schools exhibition previews
Invitation to one RA Schools lunch with staff and students
Meetings with Students and Staff
Free quarterly RA Magazine
Crediting in the RA Annual Report
Opportunity to attend the Summer Exhibition Preview Party*
Priority booking for Friends events*
