RA Schools Show and Premiums

Premiums
Showcasing some of the best contemporary painting and sculpture being produced by students, this annual exhibition highlights the work of second years studying at the Royal Academy Schools, and provides an excellent opportunity to buy work by young and aspiring artists.

The annual Premiums show reveals the students' imaginative diversity, their varied artistic approaches and creative practice. It enables each young artist to see for the first time their own work in a sophisticated, professional setting and thereby to evaluate the extent of their achievement. This exhibition will introduce a new generation of artists whose work is worthy not only of attention but also of consideration as potential additions to art collections.

RA Schools Show
The annual Schools Show marks the culmination of the three-year post-graduate Diploma course at the Royal Academy Schools. Working studios are transformed into a series of magnificent exhibition spaces in which to display students’ work. A full-colour catalogue is produced to accompany the Show, providing a valuable record of the work on display. Admission is free, and almost all of the work is available to buy.
