RA Schools Gallery

The Royal Academy Schools Gallery in Hornsey is the first external gallery annex space in the Academy's 300 year history. The gallery is under the curatorial direction of Michael Petry, who as well as teaching at the Schools is an artist, curator and writer, and the Director of the Museum of Contemporary Art, London.

Hornsey

St James Homes sponsors an Artist in Residence who has a studio above the gallery space. Each year one student is selected on graduation to work in the space with the view to an exhibition at the end of their residency. This provides a valuable transition from student to professional practice.
