In January 2011 Restaurant group Peyton & Byrne launched a stunning restaurant and bar at the Royal Academy of Arts.

The Restaurant at the Royal Academy of Arts offers all day dining with waiter service. Restaurateur Oliver Peyton has worked to design a menu that makes full use of prime British ingredients, locally and ethically sourced, in keeping with the context of the restaurant.

The menu features all the ingredients you would expect from Peyton and Byrne, the very best seasonal produce from specially selected suppliers, freshly baked cakes from our own bakery and all prepared by our talented chefs for you to enjoy either as a light lunch, for afternoon tea.

The Restaurant at The Royal Academy is open daily from 10am till 6pm, with dinner served on Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm. Come and join us in the day for a sumptuous breakfast, a decadent lunch or a long and lazy afternoon tea.

Designed by Norman Shaw in 1885, the Restaurant has been redesigned by Tom Dixon with a luxurious and stunning new décor inspired by the Royal Academy Collection. Decorated with murals and sculptures from the RA Collection, it is an ideal and centrally located venue for Friends, gallery visitors and passers-by alike.
