Terms and Conditions for Royal Academy Events & Lectures

Royal Academician and Resident Artist at the Eden Project in Cornwall, Anthony Eyton, leads this practice-based masterclass in working with pastels from nature. Celebrated most recently for the pastel drawings he did on site of Bankside Power Station before it was transformed into Tate Modern, Anthony Eyton regards pastel as the ‘brightest and most flexible medium.’ The masterclass will take place in the historic Life Room of the RA Schools and, if weather permits, will move to Green Park or St. James’s Square in order to experience in nature the immediacy of drawing and colour that pastels provide.
