John Etheridge
John Etheridge
Described by Pat Metheny as “one of the best guitarists in the world,” John Etheridge's eclectic approach to music is characterised by key associations with Stephane Grappelli and Soft Machine. Noted by The Observer as “the best young violinist in jazz today” Christian Garrick has revitalised jazz violin playing for the 21st century. Like Etheridge, he has been touched by the iconic and vibrant Grapelli, whilst forging his own individual style. Together they revisit gypsy jazz of the great French tradition, in celebration of 'Miró, Calder, Giacometti, Braque: Aimé Maeght and His Artists' exhibition.

This is a free event but spaces are limited. Please arrive early and collect your free ticket from the front desk to avoid disappointment.

Part of the London Jazz Festival in association with BBC Radio 3.
