Nikolaus Hirsch of Wandel Hoefer Lorch + Hirsch and Jan Liesegang of studio Raumlabor present their recent work, opening a dialogue about emerging concerns within German architecture. The evening is chaired by Matthias Sauerbruch.
Former AA-unit master Nikolaus Hirsch has been involved in the design of various public buildings such as the award-winning Dresden Synagogue and a number of experimental cultural projects in the field of visual and performance arts.
Raumlabor is a group of eight architects and artists whose small-scale, unconventional and temporary projects bridge art and architecture, activating sites within former East German towns and forgotten places in industrial wastelands.
