Victoria Station – Gateway to the Continent
Friends Only
9 February 2012
Victoria station as we know it today is made of two stations, built side by side and eventually merged in the 1920s. With its historical links to the Night Ferry, the Orient Express and the Imperial Airways Terminal, Victoria station has always represented the glamour and excitement of foreign travel. Our walking tour explores the secrets of the station, local almshouses and the Byzantine exterior of Westminster Cathedral.
