Royal Court Theatre
Friends Only
12 September 2011
Built in 1888 by architects Walter Emden and Bertie Crewe, the Royal Court Theatre had a varied life for the first 70 years of its existence, before falling into disuse after bomb damage during the Blitz. In 1994, the theatre was radically redeveloped by Haworth Tomkins architects. We go behind the scenes to discover the fascinating history of this magnificent building.
