Great Dixter, Sussex

The Manor at Great Dixter was first recorded in 1220, with structural additions made again in 1464. In 1910 architect Edwin Lutyens RA restored and extended the house with the owner Nathaniel Lloyd designing the gardens. Charles Hind, Dixter Trustee and RIBA/Heinz curator, leads our tour which includes parts of the house not normally open to the public.
