The Buildings & Estate Department is responsible for all engineering and construction projects at the Academy. We have an exciting and rare opportunity for an exceptional individual to join the team as a Project Manager.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, management, co-ordination and financial control of M&E engineering and construction projects of a value up to £3m, and will ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and in a safe, compliant manner.
This role requires strong management acumen and a collaborative approach. You will have extensive experience of delivering complex projects within heritage and listed buildings, ideally within a large gallery environment; managing consultants and contractors, and working with an in-house engineering team. You will possess first-class communication and IT skills, a personal commitment to Health and Safety regulations, and must also be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the visual arts and an understanding of the vision of the Royal Academy of Arts.
