Interim Director of Development

(Maternity cover for approx. six months, commencing end of August 2008). Competitive salary London

We are looking for an experienced development professional to lead our successful multi-million pound fundraising operation. It is essential that you have significant, demonstrable experience in at least two of the key development areas: corporate development, major giving, individual giving or capital campaigns.

You are confident in your ability to manage a highly skilled team, providing mentorship and guidance. You have outstanding negotiating and interpersonal skills; business acumen; and ease and confidence in working with trustees, senior volunteers, major benefactors and committees. A track record of interim management experience is highly desirable, as is a genuine interest in the visual arts.
