The Royal Academy of Arts is one of the UK’s foremost arts institutions, famous for its world class exhibitions including Van Gogh, Anish Kapoor and David Hockney, and whose purpose is to be a clear, strong voice for art and artists. Its public programme promotes the creation, study and enjoyment of art to a wide range of audiences through exhibitions, education and debate.
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Buildings and Estates team. The successful candidate will have existing project coordination experience gained within a building services or construction company. They will be fully familiar with the life cycle of large scale construction projects.
They will be highly computer literate, able to produce professional minutes, and be an advanced user of MS Word, Excel and Project. With the ability to introduce and manage effective monitoring and filing systems, they will be methodical and well organised.
Well presented, assertive, articulate and confident, the successful candidate will possess first rate communication skills to build effective working relationships both with internal colleagues and external agencies along with sound business acumen.
