The Royal Academy Schools is an independent, well established and accredited centre of excellence that offers the only three year Postgraduate Fine Art course in the country. Located in the Royal Academy of Arts estate in the heart of London’s Piccadilly, the Schools are looking for an exceptional individual to provide comprehensive administrative support.
A first class administrator, the successful candidate will possess well-honed PC skills, including a high level of competence with MS Excel, to manage and update complex spreadsheets. They will also understand and maximize the full functionality of MS Word, specifically mail merge. A touch typist with at least 2 years administrative experience within an office environment is essential. Experience of taking formal meeting minutes is a distinct advantage.
Well organized and efficient, they will be able to multi task and meet tight deadlines. Proactive with the courage to use initiative are essential qualities.
Friendly and approachable, with a generosity of spirit, they will possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with staff, students and Academy-wide effortlessly. Applicants with a strong background in customer service are preferred.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest and knowledge of the visual arts and a sound understanding and knowledge of the Royal Academy of Arts.
