As an independent academic institution, the Royal Academy of Arts receive no government funding, and relies heavily on the generosity of its Patrons to continue its core activities.
In addition to enjoying unrivalled priority and out of hours access to all Royal Academy Exhibitions, together with a bespoke programme of exclusive events, Patrons enjoy a unique opportunity to socialise and network with a group of like minded individuals who share a passion for the visual arts.

Benjamin West Patrons
With members from all over the globe, this Group provides camaraderie for those newly experiencing cultural life in London as well as opportunities to support projects that directly contribute to a rich artistic legacy. The Benjamin West Group receives all the benefits of RA patrons at the above levels but also have the opportunity to come to additional specially organised events (subject to an additional charge).
