Charitable Trusts and Foundations

Frank Cadogan Cowper RA (1877-1958), Vanity Oil on panel 571 X 381 mm As a registered charity, and an independent organisation that receives no annual government grant or public funding, the Royal Academy is heavily reliant on raising funds from charitable Trusts and Foundations.
In addition to finding funding to support the Academy’s internationally renowned exhibition programme, funding is required for:
- the Royal Academy’s innovative Education Programme
of events and activities for schools, families and people with special needs
- scholarships and bursaries for students in the RA Schools and for the cataloguing, restoration and conservation of the RA Collections, which records the Royal Academy's development as the leading visual arts institution in Britain
