Start your summer in style with live jazz and a Pimms bar at the Summer Exhibition 2008, the world’s largest open submission contemporary art exhibition. Held annually since 1768, this year’s Summer Exhibition promises cutting edge art on show, including works by Sir Anthony Caro RA, Tony Cragg RA and Tracey Emin RA.

Tracey Emin RA, in conversation with artist, art critic and broadcaster Matthew Collings, contemplates her role within the Royal Academy, the Academy’s relationship to the contemporary art world, and her perspective – as an artist – on hanging a gallery in the Summer Exhibition. Booking information
