Essential reading this summer has to be the Summer Exhibition Illustrated 2013 with a gatefold cover depicting a glorious tapestry by Grayson Perry RA. His remarkable series of six tapestries entitled The Vanity of Small Differences, inspired by Hogarth’s A Rake’s Progress, form a special part of the exhibition.
