Kyffin Williams was a key figure in contemporary Welsh painting. From the beginning of his career the landscape and people of North Wales provided the inspiration for his work. This beautifully produced monograph features rarely-seen works chosen by the artist from private collections. The insightful introduction is written by Ian Jeffrey, a leading art historian. Nicholas Sinclair provides an essay exploring Williams’ artistic influences and photographic glimpses of his studio and working methods.
There are 100 illustrations over 120 pages and the book is measures 25.5 x 27cms.
