ZMick Rooney 'L on Earth'

'L on Earth' is an edition of 700 of which 200 are numbered and signed by the artist. The numbered, signed copies are exclusively available via the Royal Academy. The foreword is written by Paul Theroux and the introduction by the artist.
'For the love of her the paint and brushes sing' might be the title of one of the 25 diptychs reproduced in this beautiful little book. In fact, it's the artist's dedication to his muse, the inspiration behind this series of images which are alive with life's conundrums, tragedies, ironies, disappointments and occasional victories. Painted over the past year these gem-like pictures, teeming with incident, reveal the full range of Mick Rooney's narrative art.
The book is 150mm x 210mm, 56 pages clothbound with a paper jacket.
