'Terry Setch: Recent Works' at Flowers Gallery

RSS

There's still time to catch an exhibition of recent work by Royal Academician Terry Setch at Flowers Gallery in Cork Street this week.

Setch has lived in Penarth, near Cardiff, since the late 1960s, and and the Welsh coastal landscape has long played an integral role in his work.

In the video above, Setch explains how he developed his distinctive painting style, which often incorporates found objects from local beaches and thick applications of coloured wax. He also describes how a growing awareness of environmental issues has shaped his approach to his subject matter over the years.
