Humphrey Ocean RA at the National Portrait Gallery

Royal Academician Humphrey Ocean's exhibition 'A handbook of modern life' at the National Portrait Gallery comprises a series of paintings of family, friends and other visitors to his studio. I can really connect with the thoughts of Humphrey. All we need to do is paint and loose ourselves in the process, everything else will look after itself. Although, as a painter I sometimes hit a wall, this is when logic and objectivity kick in. Andrew www.andrewfarmerfineart.co.uk
