Video: Glass maestro Chihuly's London show

RSS

The American glass artist Dale Chihuly is well known in the UK, not least for his spectacular 27-foot chandelier that graces the front hall of the Victoria & Albert Museum. It was created on the occasion of his 2001 exhibition 'Chihuly at the V&A', which was followed in 2005 by a large site-specific installation at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

His exhibition at Halcyon Gallery's new flagship space on New Bond Street has already had more than 4,000 visitors since its opening on 5 December. The 57 works across three floors include a two-storey white and gold chandelier and 24-foot Mille Fiori garden of glass.

The exhibition runs until 21 April 2012 and you can see some of the highlights in the video above.
