International exchange and travel
The Schools has established connections with a number of international fine art institutions. In 2008 and 2009, we ran exchanges with the Fine Art Academies in Dusseldorf and Leipzig. More recently, an exchange programme has been established with the Geidai University in Tokyo, enabling one student to undertake a complete term in Japan. In association with the Red Mansion Foundation, there is an opportunity to undertake residencies in Beijing, China. Additionally, the Schools organises international group study visits – in recent years these trips have included Documenta in Kassel, Frankfurt, New York, Berlin and the Venice Biennale.
