Annenberg Courtyard
Summer Exhibition 2009 features Triton III, a sculptural installation by Bryan Kneale RA, in the Royal Academy’s Annenberg Courtyard.

Bryan Kneale RA, Triton III, 2008
Commissioned by and on loan from the Cass Sculpture Foundation, Goodwood, Triton III is an amalgam of three components. This arresting stainless steel sculpture, produced in 2008, comprises concave and convex forms. Some surfaces have a satin finish whilst others are polished, both reflecting and distorting its courtyard setting.
Bryan Kneale’s Triton III is the latest installation in the RA's programme of Sculpture in the Courtyard and follows on from Sir Anthony Caro's Promenade, the Chapmans' The Meek Shall Inherit the Earth, but not the Mineral Rights, Anselm Kiefer’s Jericho, Rodin's Gates of Hell and Damien Hirst's Virgin Mother.
