BRASS JAW

Describing themselves as “a capella horns” this feisty all-brass four piece are redefining chamber jazz with their unconventional and energetic approach to playing jazz. Comprised of four of Scotland’s most exciting young players Ryan Quigley (trumpet), Paul Towndrow (alto sax), Konrad Wiszniewski (tenor sax), Allon Beauvoisin (baritone sax) all have received critical acclaim for their musical achievements – Brass Jaw dazzle with their tight interplay and melodic invention.
Part of Festival on the Move, a strand of programming that sees artists exploring the breadth and depth of the capital.

London Jazz Festival 2009"The London Jazz Festival returns this November with a characteristically heady and eclectic mix that reflects a continually changing jazz landscape. Established international stars like the inimitable Sonny Rollins headline a ten-day event that extends throughout the city, from major concert halls to tiny clubs. London’s most expansive music Festival spreads the jazz message far and wide."
- John Cumming, Festival Director
