Budapest Bar will be performing a special acoustic concert at the Royal Academy of Arts to coincide with the exhibition 'Treasures from Budapest: European Masterpieces from Leonardo to Schiele'. This will be an evocative and emotive performance of brooding jazz and gypsy sounds from this group, much loved in Hungary.

Since its foundation in 2007, Budapest Bar has had an unexpected success and cult following in Hungary. Budapest Bar revives chanson, jazz, bossa nova, film and gypsy music from the exciting Budapest café culture in the 30s and 40s alongside unique rearrangements of Piazzolla and Bartok.
