Berlin-based architects Frank Barkow and Jürgen Mayer H. reflect upon the current German architectural scene and present examples of their work in Germany and abroad.
Frank Barkow of Barkow Leibinger (2007 Marcus Prize winners) speaks on ‘Fabricating Material Effects’ drawing on examples of recent projects including the TRUTEC building in Seoul and the Gatehouse in Stuttgart.
Jürgen Mayer H.’s talk ‘ReActivators’ looks at the ways in which the ideas and theories he has explored over the past few years have been realised in recently completed projects.
