Pallant House and Chichester Cathedral
7 February 2012
Located in a Queen Anne town house dating from 1712, Pallant House Gallery boasts one of the best collections of Modern British art in the UK. We tour the gallery’s permanent collection, which includes works by Henry Moore, Barbara Hepworth and Duncan Grant, with its curator. In the afternoon we visit Chichester Cathedral, home to a window by Marc Chagall, a tapestry by John Piper and a painting by Graham Sutherland.
