Dressing Vintage: Twentieth-Century Collectables
22 January 2009
Collector, writer and broadcaster Madeleine Marsh opens her bursting wardrobe to take us on a colourful journey through the history of twentieth-century fashion. With clothes and accessories – including 1920s flapper dresses, 1950s underwear and 1970s Biba makeup – Madeleine explores what we wore, why we wore it, and how clothes from the past have become today’s hottest fashion. For many years, Madeleine was the editor of Miller’s Collectables Price Guide and has appeared on a wide variety of television and radio programmes, including the Antiques Roadshow, as a collection expert.
