The Buildings & Estates Department is responsible for the delivery of a programme of works to link Burlington House with Burlington Gardens to form a single campus, in accordance with the Masterplan devised by Sir David Chipperfield, in time for the RA’s 250th anniversary in 2018. An exciting and rare opportunity for an exceptional individual has arisen to join the team as its internal Project Manager.
The Project Manager will assist the Programme Director in coordinating activities leading to the successful implementation of the capital building project to which the individual is allocated.
This role requires strong management acumen, and the right candidate will have a construction, financial, commercial, or business related degree, as well as a relevant professional qualification and prior industry experience of delivering large scale capital projects in a complex, culture driven, environment.
The role may be filled on a contract or consultancy basis, part-time or full-time, according to availability and experience.
