Head of Buildings and Estates

We are looking for a Head of Buildings and Estates to take responsibility for the management, maintenance, refurbishment and planning works across the RA's 2-acre estate, which includes historic listed buildings and other premises.

You will be required to demonstrate the full remit of the modern FM including events and exhibitions, which attract a high level of public patronage. You will lead and direct the building and estates team, coordinating activities of services providers, providing input to the strategic buildings and estates management plan and provide strategic input to the design of future projects.

• Educated to degree level in property or FM related subject.
• Experience within similar prestigious buildings is essential.

To secure this role you should possess:
1. Heritage premises/estates management experience
2. Hard (M&E) facilities service provision experience
3. Have excellent presentation, communication skills
4. Have a keen business acumen
5. Be a good people manager
6. Have excellent project management skills
