Zaha Hadid's first pubic buildingin London, the Evelyn Grace Acdemy in Brixton has been completed. Hadid has also won the Stirling Prize for Architecture for her design for the MAXXI Centre for Contemporary Art in Florence.
A new monograph 'Building Ideas: MJP Architects' (£35, Right Angle Architects) charts the development of Richard MacCormac's practice through themed essays. The firm has recently completed Kendrew Quadrangle, St John’s College, Oxford and the Maggie’s Centre in Cheltenham.
