Anthony Eyton RA is a distinguished figurative painter. His subject matter ranges from his back garden to the many scenes he has experienced on his travels across four continents. This first monograph traces his career through the war years, his association with Camberwell School of Art to an appraisal of his standing in post-war British Art.
Jenny Pery draws on his personnal diaries which provide a fresh contemporary view on both private and material events.
This book is published in a limited edition of 100 copies,which includes a specially created aquatint, Rio, on B.F.K.Rives 270 gsm and hand-finished by the artist. Produced by Jack Shirreff and Andrew Smith at 107 Workshop, Wiltshire.
