Portugal Prints

The Learning Department has a partnership with Portugal Prints (part of Westminster Mind). The service users participate in regular workshops with the Royal Academy. These involve both a gallery conversation and an artmaking session at Portugal Prints or the RA Learning Studio, led by an artist educator. Portugal Prints is also a paid contractor of the RA, creating, designing and printing our Large Print Labels for all three exhibitions in the RA’s Sackler Wing of Galleries each year.

Last year Disability Arts Online’s Diverse Perspectives programme enabled Dolly Sen to create a short documentary. She chose to focus her commission on exploring the relationship Portugal Prints has with the RA’s Access Programme. Click here to watch the film
