Leave a gift to the arts

As an independent charity, everything we do; the exhibitions, the postgraduate courses for young artists at the RA Schools, the public workshops, lectures and debates – we do without revenue funding from the government.

Instead, we rely on the generosity of people who support the principle on which we were founded over 240 years ago: to provide a strong, clear voice for art and artists. It is this independence that gives us a unique place in the world of art. By leaving us a gift in your will, you will be helping to protect an
organisation which has been, and remains, an inspiration to countless generations of artists and art lovers.

“Anyone who’s ever set foot in the RA knows what a wonderful institution it is. By leaving a gift in your will, you’ll help ensure future generations can get as much enjoyment from it as you have.”

Secretary and Chief Executive
