Ming Ming and the Ching Chings are a phenomenon that grew out of Glasgow’s vibrant and flourishing art and music scenes. Formed by artist Craig Wilson, they play a full on brand of rock music which also keeps the disco dancers happy. An enigmatic front man and an insane percussionist channel the spirits of The Stooges, Talking Heads, The Cramps and Arthur Russell. They recently played an intense and victorious home-coming gig at Glasgow’s legendary night-club Optimo Espacio.
