Part of Event Horizon: 'Sawing off the Branch I'm Sitting On' - a selection by John Millar
7pm
Cara Ball Tolmie’s work encompasses a wide range of media from music to performance to text to form an interrogation of the frailty of signs and the totality of theoretical discourse. Her work jumps Racine’s question ‘who has the right to speak and for whom?’ and asks ‘who is in fact speaking’? She is interested in subverting systemic structures from social anthropology to music theory.
For Event Horizon she will be performing a new work comprising film, sculpture, physical performance and singing.
