RA Schools Graduate Sara Knowland makes paintings, collage, and sculptural objects. Shown together, relationships between the two-dimensional and three-dimensional evoke something of the experience of the world that one has privately or communally, physically and psychologically.
The wall relief sculptures in this exhibition have various starting points – design in public spaces, soft furnishings, transport – and have been made with the social aspect of the space in mind.
The Selina Chenevière Travel Award is an annual award established by Antoine Chenevière in memory of his late wife, Lady Selina Chenevière. It is awarded to a third-year student at the RA Schools.
