Eloise Rowley, still from ‘Churnet View’, 2008 Film, 2:50 mins Eloise Rowley graduated from the Royal Academy Schools in 2007.
Professor Maurice Cockrill RA, the Keeper of the Schools, describes her as an exemplary student, devoted to her work and anxious to develop it in a unique and progressive way.
“Eloise has made a truly original fusion of drawing and film, both skills being combined to produce sequences of a most sophisticated and magical kind, with great subtlety and grace. Her technical artwork and her hand drawing skills are of the most refined sort and she is able to utilise her many abilities in a poetic, lyrical and imaginative way.”
