To celebrate the exhibition, French Sole have created a unique, limited edition collection of their famous ‘ballet-inspired’ footwear. Capturing Degas’s colour palette, these beautiful shoes reflect the pastel tones and echo the sense of theatrical drama associated with his work.
With a lifelong love of the ballet and the work of Degas, Jane Winkworth, Founder of French Sole, has taken particular inspiration from Degas’ Little Dancer and has embossed the image on the mirrored silver soles of the shoes and each shoe box, produced specially for this remarkable collection.
